My first visit to Chandigarh was
a weekend away with my friends; it was road trip by bike on our way to Shimla.
It was a 7 hour bike ride and we needed a good accommodation which can be close
to various tourist places we can visit as we knew we will be tired already. We
stayed at The Fern Residency Chandigarh which according to the reviews is the
best among the hotels in Chandigarh nearSukhna Lake. We were very impressed with the swiftness the associates
handled our check in and check out. The hotel had around 34 rooms available
with top amenities. We were a group of 6 and we booked 3 fern green rooms. The
beds were so comfortable, the breakfast buffet was the best part of the day and
the in room coffee maker was a big help for some coffee addicts like me. All my friends were very happy with the
excellent hospitality that we were served and of course the free wifi.

Our next day was filled with
plans of visiting Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake and Rose Garden. We had a tiring
day. We had dinner here and both the continental cuisine and Punjabi dishes served
were lip smacking. Apart from the rooms
we noticed that they also have conference hall, banquet hall and meeting rooms,
which is a brilliant setting for anyone looking for hotels in Chandigarh near Panchkula to organize corporate meeting.
